Goodbye April... hello May!
5/1: Pluto turns retrograde at 0' Aquarius. This is the first time we'll witness Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. If you recall, Pluto just entered this sign on March 23rd. This is the planet for power, control, transformation, and evolution. Pluto will backtrack into Capricorn in June, then re-enter Aquarius for good in January of 2024. This is a final call to revise some issues regarding power struggles and control in the sign of Capricorn. This retrograde may reveal issues that still need to shift, change, be purged, transformed and reborn. This energy brings intensity, however it can also be beneficial for empowerment.
5/5: Full moon and lunar eclipse at 14' Scorpio. This full moon/eclipse feels heavy, but is flavored with playfulness. It gives energy for releasing things we no longer need, but also highlights learning through play. This is the perfect time to cut cords and transform ways of thinking. Doors are opening and closing at this time, so allow the process to lead you in the right direction. Have courage to step out of your comfort zone and see what happens.
5/7: Venus enters Cancer. Venus in Cancer brings love and attraction to emotional security, home improvements, romance and stable affections. It heightens intuition and sweetens everyones mood a bit. This transit can make us feel extra sensitive and a little moody as well.
5/14: Mercury goes direct at 5' Taurus. YAY! Allow the energy to shift for you and slowly unfold. Thoughts and ideas from the previous 2 weeks are beginning to find clarity. Hopefully the retrograde opened your mind to new perspectives and/or brought new solutions to issues that seemed unsolvable.
5/16: Jupiter enters Taurus. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, faith, luck, opportunities, and abundance. This planet stays in a sign for approximately 1 year, however, it sped through Aries and is now arriving in Taurus. Jupiter in Taurus promises luck in business and finance. It encourages diligence, patience, and the ability to achieve goals. Slow down in order to receive and appreciate the many blessings that this transit brings.
5/19: New Moon at 28' Taurus. This new moon wants us to feel grounded and safe. The sign of Taurus strongly values security and pleasure, so set intentions that align with this new moon. Remind yourself to stay flexible, but never waver from your true desires. In other words, don't settle for less. Instead, find a logical approach to getting what you want and manifest it during this new moon day.
5/20: Mars enters Leo. Mars, the planet of action and courage, enters the sign of of Sun. Let your light shine! Be bold, express yourself, show off your creativity, open your heart and be generous. Play, live, laugh, and love.
5/21: The sun enters Gemini. Happy birthday all Gemini's! With the sun here, energies become light, social, curious, and agile. Gemini season is perfect for communication, learning, playfulness, and experimenting. It's about fitting in everywhere and learning from everyone.
